Jorge Gómez Jr. nació en San Pedro  Honduras, bajo la influencia musical de su padre, el Cantante Tropical Jorge Gómez Sr., quien formo parte del famoso grupo internacional de " Wilfrido Vargas . Jorge Jr. comenzó a trabajar hacia su meta musical a la edad de 17. Comenzo por percusión, pero después se enamoro con el canto. Ha participado en eventos de iglesias, en acontecimientos de la comunidad, festivales en el area del sur, incluyendo el " internacional; Festival Mensaje" (un escenario compartido con el gran cantante internacional jhon secada). Jorge Gómez Jr. ha participado en producciones de artistas como voces de fondo, arreglista vocal y compositor. Su primer participación de grabación fue el album de su Padre Jorge Sr. titulado Cuando Busco tu Rostro" en el cual participo como co-productor y compositor. Actualmente es vocalista primordial de un Ministerio Internacional basado en Nuevo Orlreans. Sus influencias musicales han sido  Boyz II Men, Luis Miguel, Michael Jackson, Juan Luis Guerra, Sting, y su mayor inspiración su padre Jorge Gomez . El entrega un estilo de música que mezcla una poco de todo, una combinación de sabor latino/americano urbano, y poco de estilo bolero romántico.

BIOGRAPHY

Jorge Gomez Jr. was born in San Pedro Sula, Honduras, growing up on the musical trail of his father, tropical merengue singer Jorge Gomez Sr., who was part of the world famous group of "Wilfrido Vargas", as he performed around the world. He began working toward his musical goals at the age of 17, beginning with percussion and drums, but then falling in love with singing. He performed at churches, community events, music venues and festivals throughout the south, including the international "Mensaje Festival" (a stage shared by the likes of John Secada). Jorge Gomez Jr. has participated in artist productions as background singer, vocal arranger and song writer. His vocals can be heard on his father's latest album "Cuando Busco tu Rostro" which he co-produced and co-wrote. At the present time he's one of the lead vocalist at a New Orleans based Church. Jorge's musical influences are - Boyz II Men, Luis Miguel, Michael Jackson, Juan Luis Guerra, Sting, and his greatest inspiration, his father Jorge Gomez Sr. Jorge Gomez Jr. delivers a style of music that blends a little of them all, a combination of raw latin flavor, urbano, a twist of hip-hop and a little of the bolero style romance.
